Pastor Don is a native of Old Brooklyn, Ohio. He attended Rhodes High School in Old Brooklyn. He earned a Bachelors degree from Cleveland State University in Marketing and a Masters Degree from Liberty University. He and his wife Dawn have 6 beautiful children and live in Parma, Ohio.

Pastor Jeff joined the staff of Refuge Community Church in 2019 and was previously Technical Arts Pastor for 14 years at Refuge's sending church, Cuyahoga Valley Church in Broadview Heights, Ohio. Jeff was born and raised in Florence, Colorado, and was graduated from Florence High School. Jeff earned his Bachelor's degree from Colorado State University-Pueblo and also studied Theology at Liberty University and Southern Seminary. Jeff and Laryssa married in 2005 and have one lovely daughter, Lex. They reside in Parma Heights, Ohio.

Youth Director
Eddie Sallow has served as the Pastoral Intern since 2022, and has served as Youth Director during that time as well. He has formally been named Youth Director as of February 2024. Eddie's responsibilities include teaching in the Refuge Youth Group, leading the Technical Arts volunteers, vision-casting for all things digital, co-leading our Vacation Bible School, and "other duties as assigned." Eddie graduated from high school in 2023 and has felt God's calling on his life and ministry for a number of years.
Kathy Jaynes Kitchen Director
"Grandma" Kathy married her husband Tom at age 18 and was married for 41 1/2
years prior to his passing in February 2002. She has 4 children, 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren with whom she loves spending time. She's been a vital part of Refuge from its very first prayer meeting as she cooks meals for all of the services and events. She has recently taken on a role in preparing meals for missions teams, as well as serving in the Cleveland area through Cleveland Hope.
